Football New Brunswick presents its Annual "Individual" Awards in the following categories:

Volunteer of the Year- Atom Football
Volunteer of the Year- Bantam Football
Volunteer of the Year- PeeWee Football
Gridiron Award
Volunteer of the Year-Female Football 
 Volunteer of the Year-Adult Football 
Volunteer of the Year-Flag/Touch Football 

Nominees can include coaches, administrators and officials.

Awards Criteria:

A person who has made a major contribution to the betterment of football in New Brunswick. 

Submissions should include specific examples, where applicable, but will not necessarily include all of the following:

player development program development
coaching development competitive level of achievement
commitment promotion and advancement of athletes
ongoing development of NCCP certification and philosophy

Anybody can nominate someone for one of these awards. Nominations can be e-mailed to Football New Brunswick at tdfootballnb@gmail.com. Deadline for nominations is February 15. All nominations must include supporting documentation.

Football New Brunswick presented its Annual "Individual" Awards in the following categories:

High School Coach of the Year
Bantam Coach of the Year
PeeWee Coach of the Year
Volunteer of the Year- Tackle Football
Volunteer of the Year- Touch and Flag Football
Official of the Year

Awards Criteria:

High School, Bantam and PeeWee Coaches of the Year
The coaches selected must have "developed a successful program over a prolonged period". Successful means not just winning games and championships, but also showing and teaching their players about "Sportsmanship" , "Integrity" and  "Fair Play" .  As well, consideration will be given to the coach's commitment to technical self-improvement such as NCCP certification  and attendance at other coaching clinics. This award will usually go to a Head Coach. However, Assistant Coaches will be considered in extraordinary circumstances.

The High School Coach of the Year will usually be chosen from one of the New Brunswick High School Football League's  Coaches of the Year  ( i.e. East or West).

Volunteer of the Year- Tackle Football  and  Volunteer of the Year- Touch and Flag Football
These awards can go to a head coach, assistant coach, official, manager, administrator or anybody else involved with football in New Brunswick. The individual selected must have either:

(1)  Provided "significant long-term service" to the sport of football. OR
(2)  Rendered an "extraordinary level of service" to the sport of football in a short time period.

Official of the Year
The individual selected should have worked a significant number of minor football games during the year. This will demonstrate their commitment to helping develop the sport at it's grassroots. Perceived on-field competence and attitude, participation in technical training sessions, as well as off-field contributions to administration and professional development will also be taken into account.
