Football Canada Annual Awards

Football Canada/CFL Awards of Merit

The general criterion is that the person(s) recognized have made an outstanding contribution to either amateur or professional football for a period of 15 years or more as a player, coach, official, administrator or in some other capacity.

Bill Leveridge Memorial Award

Established by Mr. David Rothstien of Winnipeg in 1984 in commemoration of the tireless and dedicated contribution that the late Bill Leveridge made to the game of football in Canada. This award is presented annually to an individual who, through their behind the scenes work, makes an outstanding contribution to the development of amateur football in their province. Further, their efforts should reflect the kindred spirit and undaunted loyalty to the game that characterized Bill Leveridge's life.

Jeffrey St. Pierre Memorial Award

Established by the Football Canada Board of Directors in 2000 in commemoration of the tireless and dedicated contribution that the late Jeffrey St. Pierre made to many areas of the game of football in Canada, including officiating, coaching and administration. This award is to be presented annually to an Executive member of the Football Canada Annual General Meeting Host Provincial Football Organization who has made a positive contribution over a long priod of time to various aspects of football in their province.
