New Brunswick High School Football League
The New Brunswick Interscholastic Athletic Association reorganized high school football. All schools with populations of 1,000 or more students were now classified as AAA and would play 12 man football. All schools with less than 1,000 students were now classified as AA and would play 10 man football. AA schools could opt to play AAA.
St. Malachy's, Kennebecasis and Simonds had to move up to play AAA 12 man football.
AA schools MacNaughton, Harrison Trimble and Tantramar all opted to play AAA 12 man football.
